South Korean pianist Dr. Jaesung Kim holds a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), a Master of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from Yonsei University in Seoul.
His competition record includes first prize at the 40th Kankakee Symphony Orchestra Competition, second prize at the Chopin Competition (Northwest Chopin Foundation, Seattle), and second prize at the American Protégé International Piano Competition — earning a winners recital performance at Carnegie Hall. He won the CCM Piano Concerto Competition and performed with the CCM Concert Orchestra.
Teaching since 2001, he founded Musical Moments in 2018 and prepares students for recitals, competitions, auditions, and ABRSM/RCM exams.

Dr. Karen Kim holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts from The Ohio State University. She received the 2020 MTNA Mary Sue Harris Teacher Fellowship — the highest recognition a developing piano teacher can receive from the Music Teachers National Association — and has been featured in American Music Teacher magazine.
She serves as the Ohio representative for ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), sits on the board of Chamber Music Cincinnati, and teaches as adjunct professor at Cedarville University and Wilmington College. Her research on teaching contrapuntal skills has earned awards from the Edward F. Hayes Advanced Research Forum and the 2024 Three Minute Thesis competition.
Her students have won numerous local, state, and national competitions, and she has taught and performed at pre-colleges and venues in Seoul, Chengdu, Chongqing, Taishan, and Beijing.

Mrs. Zhou brings deep experience teaching piano, music theory, music history, and AP Music Theory to students of all ages and levels.

Ms. Chiu performs with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and brings orchestral performance experience from multiple professional ensembles in the Baltimore and Cincinnati areas.

Mr. Collins is a classical/fingerstyle guitarist with multiple first-prize competition wins and an active solo performance career.

Mr. Chen performs with the Mason, Lima, and Butler Symphony Orchestras and has a track record of helping students win competitions and gain admission to top music programs.
